Medcroft class had a fantastic day at Cotswold Wildlife Park last week. All the children were fantastic, walking a long way with no complaints and with exceptional behaviour. Some of the highlights included the wolves, the lions – particularly a lioness jumping up at the viewing window, the penguins waddling and swimming and being able to get very close to the lemurs. The children really enjoyed their train ride and were very pleased to sit in the shade with their ice-creams after a busy day. There is a lot of enthusiastic writing and learning happening in the classroom following on from our trip and the children are particularly enjoying discovering more facts about some of the animals we came across.
