Medcroft Class had a fantastic day out at the Museum of Natural History in Oxford. We followed a trail of dinosaur footprints and saw some amazing skeletons. Some of our favourite skeletons included the T-Rex, the tuna fish and the crocodile. We learned some very interesting facts during our fossil workshop, including how fossils are created and how you can work out the size of a dinosaur by his footprints. Everyone was tired and happy at the end of the day!
What the children said…
“I liked looking at the crystals.”
“I liked the spider crab and I thought it was the biggest crab in the world!”
“I liked the fossils that the man showed us.”
