Year 6 Injury Minimisation Programme for Schools (I.M.P.S.) – 25.06.18

On Monday 25th June the Year 6’s went to I.M.P.S. at The Horton Hospital. We were all lucky enough to learn a number of ways that could possibly save somebody’s life such as : how to stop someone from choking, how to handle someone who has been electrocuted, how to put someone in the recovery position, how to use an AED defibrillator and how to do CPR. One of the fun parts was that we got to have a cast put on one of our fingers. We learnt many more helpful things that many people do in life. I hope all the Year 6’s that go in the future enjoy themselves and remember these useful things forever.     By Saffron H
